Yeah, it's been a long time since I've updated anything; this journal was on the 28th of October, and my last pic was on Halloween. What can I say, I've been a busy gal.

But, thus ends the longest, hardest semester of my life. I have no idea what my grades will be, and truthfully, I don't want to know. But, enough of the OotP-style angst. It's almost Christmas!

I am one of the crazy individuals who unashamedly LOVES Christmas, from the carols on the radio to the shopping to the baking and the parties and the eggnog and the inevitable weight gain. It's the one time of year when everyone can be so unabashedly traditional, and if anyone has a problem with it, you can counter with the ultimate trump argument of "What? It's Christmas!" The countdown began with the end of the semester, and will continue until festivities begin on Christmas Eve with the party at my father's family's, then the oppulance (sp?) of midnight Mass (yes, I'm an evolutionary biologist who also happens to be a practicing Catholic, there are stranger things ^_^), then Christmas day with the Ma, when it's a-ok to begin drinking before noon.

So, some drawings will be up soon, I hope, as I don't have to work this break; fair-thee-be-warned, however, as they may all end up red and green on account of my subconcious (apologies to all those who don't celebrate Christmas).

So, in the words of Krusty the Klown, "everyone have a Merry Christmas, a Happy Hanukkah, a Crazy Kwanzaa, a tip-top Tet, and a solemn, dignified Ramadan" (even though Ramadan ended in October, I believe).
